LIST OF ROUTES IN THE AREA

In this section of the web we are going to collect routes and places of interest so that guests can plan their stays complementing the rest with different activities.

We will propose you simple walking routes to cross the GR261, routes to practice Nordic Walking, mountain bike routes, routes to practice "Slow driving" to enjoy the scenery, flora and fauna, birds, visiting monuments and we stop of the area or movie routes to discover settings and locations where movies or spots have been shot.

The area offers a desert landscape, due to the aridity caused by low rainfall, wind, erosion and endorheism.

When they arrive, the Ballobar ripas that extend to Alcolea impact. They are adorned with their curious turbulence "the chimneys of the fairies". There are abundant birds of prey. It is the Cinca valley with its succession of groves, it forms one of the most important green corridors in Aragon.

The Bird Protection Zones or SPAs, are the habitat of birds of prey such as the golden eagle, the Egyptian vulture or the eagle owl, and steppe birds such as the great bustard, the curlew and the ortega that allow the activity of Bird Watching.

In the area there are several hiking trails, well signposted, easy to navigate, which allow you to enjoy the beauty of the Monegrin landscape. For example, the Torrollones route, which allows you to do “slow drivening” and continue on foot to get closer to the traditional geological formations in the area.

The return to the Sariñena lagoon offers fantastic views of this natural setting. The route to San Caprasio is a classic. And do the route of the Ripas de Alcolea.

Another very interesting area is the Monegros. It is a sub-desert steppe that offers settings of unsurpassed beauty, especially at sunset.

It is classified as a very unique landscape unique in Europe.

The territory is occupied by areas of natural vegetation interspersed with cultivated fields. We highlight the steppes, the millstones or torrollones, the ravines and the salty ones.

All routes can be done in one day leaving Casa Guzmam.
