From 22 to 24 May Monzón will celebrate the Templar festival

With this party Monsoon recovers one of the key episodes of its history: When King Jaime I called El Conquistador, still a child, resided in the town's castle. During his stay he was under the protection of the Templar Order. Guillem de Mont-Rodón was his tutor and without a doubt his influence left a mark on the character of the future king.

During that weekend, Monzón celebrates a Tribute to Guillem de Montrodon.

The Festival has been declared of Tourist Interest in Aragon and is undoubtedly one of the most important cultural events in the town.
